- 1 1/2 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
- 1/3 cup Butter
- 1/3 cup Crushed Walnuts or Cashews
- 3 each 8oz Cream Cheese (Softened)
- 1 each 16oz Sour Cream
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla
- 3 each Eggs
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 each Heart Garnish
- 1 each White/Milk Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease the bottom and side of a 9 inch Springform pan.
Crust: Combine the Graham Cracker, Nuts and Butter in a bowl. Press into the bottom of the springform pan. Place in freezer for 5 minutes or fridge for 15.
Filling: Mix Cream Cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix well after the first egg and a little less on the others. Sprinkle a small layer of White Chocolate Chips on the crust and add the filling on top. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until center is almost set. Should be light brown. Edges will begin to crack. Turn oven off and leave the cheesecake in with door ajar for 1 hour.
Topping: Combine the Sour Cream, Sugar and Vanilla extract in a bowl. Spread over surface of cheesecake. You can get creative with the garnishments for a cheesecake like this one.
You can add Chocolate Hearts, Candy Hearts, Take a Red Liquid Gel and Design a Heart in the topping or wander the candy isle at the supermarket until the topping hits you. Chocolate is usually a good bet. Have some fun with this and make your Valentines Day or event special! Enjoy!
