4 Ways to Serve Cheesecake at Your Wedding

Cheesecake is a versatile dessert that has universal appeal. This means that your wedding guests will love it! Here are some interesting ways to serve cheesecake at your wedding:

Cheesecake Wedding Cake
Do you prefer cheesecake over regular cake? If so, serve cheesecake at your wedding! Guests often feel obligated to eat their slice of traditional wedding cake – but when cheesecake is served instead, it takes “wedding cake” to the next level. For best results, ice the cheesecake with a cream cheese frosting and omit the toppings. This will make the cake more visually pleasing and much easier to transport to the reception hall. The end result looks just like a traditional wedding cake but is actually made of cheesecake.

Cheesecake Toppings Bar
People have their own ideas of what makes for a perfect cheesecake topping. If you’re serving slices of your wedding cheesecake for dessert, you can always have the reception hall serve it with a sauce or topping that they choose – but that’s certainly not the most fun choice! Instead, give your guests complete control over what they put on their cheesecake by having a toppings bar. Classic toppings such as strawberries, fruit sauces, chocolate sauce, and candy pieces are all excellent choices.

Cheesecake Pops
Cheesecake pops are all the rage right now, especially at weddings. They not only make for a cute dessert, but they can also be given as wedding favors! In this recipe, you will make mini cheesecakes, stick a lollipop stick inside each mini cheesecake, and dip them in melted chocolate. Let them cool completely before packaging them up as favors and keep them refrigerated before giving them to your guests. If you want to get adventurous, you can decorate them in wedding style like the photo above (or find them already made like that!) These pops are a fun and easy treat to give guests towards the end of the wedding reception as a snack, long after the last plate has been cleared. Guests will be hungry after all that dancing!

Mini Cheesecakes
Would you like to serve cheesecake as part of the dessert? If so, mini cheesecakes are a great choice. They’re much easier to serve because they are in small portion sizes. If you also have a traditional wedding cake, a small mini cheesecake is a nice complement. They’re also much easier to serve than a full cheesecake because the staff at the function hall won’t need to painstakingly cut pieces from the individual cakes. Mini cheesecakes can easily be made in different flavors, which will give guests the opportunity to try more than one.

Even though cheesecake is a classic dessert, serving it at weddings is only a recent trend. Try one of these ideas if you’re looking to serve it at your own wedding!
