Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake Recipe
The crust on this Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake is amazing! It really adds a lot to the delicious Center!Since 1933 we have been enjoying the rich flavor that Chocolate chips add to cookies and many other desserts, why not cheesecake too?
Ingredients:
- 2 cup Crushed Chocolate Wafers
- 4 tablespoon White Sugar
- 1/2 cup Melted Butter
- 1/2 cup Crushed Salted Cashew nuts
- 1 cup Cookie Dough
- 1 cup White Sugar
- 2 each 8oz Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 3 each Eggs
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 each Chocolate Bar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9 inch Springform pan.
Crust:
1. Mix the Chocolate Wafers, White Sugar and Crushed Cashews in a bowl. Add the melted butter and mix well.
2. Press the mixture into a springform pan.
Filling:
1. Make your Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie dough.
2. Mix 1 cup sugar, Cream Cheese and Sour Cream into a bowl. Add the Eggs, mix and pour into crust.
3. Add chunks or balls of cookie dough all over the top of the cheesecake filling. Push them into the center of the cheesecake so that they are below the surface.
4. Bake for 35-45 Minutes. Allow to cool in the oven for 2-3 hours with the door ajar.
5. Add Chocolate Shavings to the top or baked Chocolate Chip Cookie Crumbs as a fun alternative.
