Hot Fudge Cheesecake Sundae Recipe

Sundaes are the ideal family treat. They bring joy to the little kid in all of us. And when made with cheesecake as a base, they have just that extra little bit of magic! These desserts are perfect for birthday parties, picnics, or any kind of celebration, or to turn any famiy meal into an event!


Ingredients:

Crust:
1 c. graham cracker crumbs
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. butter, melted

Mix the cracker crumbs, sugar and butter together; press firmly into the bottom of a greased 9-in. springform pan. Bake at 325 degrees F for 10 minutes.

Filling:
5 8-oz. packages cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
4 eggs


Directions:

Let cream cheese set at room temperature for 2 hours before preparing recipe to soften.

Beat softened cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, flour and vanilla just until well blended. Add the sour cream. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each one just until combined.

Pour the filling over the crust. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 1 hour or until center is nearly, but not completely, set. It will set while cooling.

With a thin knife, loosen edges of cake from pan. Let cake cool at least one hour, then refrigerate at least four hours or overnight.

Topping:
Add the topping just before serving. Use some or all things below: Fudge sauce
