I bought a Red Velvet Cake from them. I paid for overnight shipping so it would arrive in time for my wife's birthday. We recently moved from one state to another, and this was the first birthday she had away from home. Well, the FED EX folks held up our package, and I saw it was stuck in a warehouse all day on the day of delivery about an hour from us. I kept checking and checking, still there. The Fed Ex website then updated to say they were unable to even give me a day for delivery! I emailed the folks at Gourmet Gift Baskets, and they responded almost immediately. Within a half an hour of sending my email, the company explained they had checked with Fed Ex, and due to recent ice storms, the package was held up. Even though the weather doesn't apply to their guarenteed delivery timeframe, they offered to send out another cake. Well, the first cake arrived the next day, and a couple of days later, we received another cake, at their expense. The whole time, they were positive, friendly, and wanted me to genuinely have a positive experience with them. They apologized several times and I was thoroughly impressed. I would definitely order from them again for the simple reason that they honor their word and believe in putting the customer first!
