I ordered the small Turtle Cheesecake for my birthday. It's one of my favorite desserts. And this was a real splurge considering what it cost. When it finally arrived it was almost melted. I couldn't believe it. They shipped (not free either) a frozen cheesecake to South Carolina in late September where it was 90 degrees! I put it straight in the refrigerator hoping it would be okay. After 24 hours I tried it. It hardly had any chocolate crust at all (and that was THE reason I ordered from Gourmet Gift Baskets) and it just didn't taste good. My family took one bite and refused to eat it. This was a total disappointment that cost $50+. I was so upset. I didn't even bother to call Customer Service because I wasn't sure I could be nice. And I didn't have any hopes of them doing anything about it. Just a total bad experience, but NEVER AGAIN!

Disappointed in the Lawlers cheesecake. The crust is bitter & is not the same as it used to be. The crust used to be unique & very tasty . Wish you had not changed it, especially for the price we paid!!!

A 6 inch cheesecake with the crust very high and the actual cheese center caved in at a cost of $44. I received as gift in replacement for frozen watery chocolate covered strawberries that were not edible. Would I order from this company? Definitely NOT.
